Artist Bio

Mike Shatilla

Mike Shatilla is a Canadian visual artist whose work explores landscapes, architecture, and the subtle interplay of light and atmosphere. Trained in graphic design at George Brown College and further developing his painting practice through plein-air and expressive brushstroke workshops, Mike blends technical precision with a passion for capturing the essence of his subjects.

His work has been featured in several juried and group exhibitions, including the FASM 2025 Juried Art Show (Peggie’s Light), Heart to Hand Exhibition 2025 (Whispers of Wolfville), and Celebrate the Seasons 2025 (Beyond the Boardwalk) at the Holcim Gallery, FirstOntario Arts Centre in Milton, Ontario.

A member of the Fine Arts Society of Milton (FASM) and the Oakville Arts Society (OAS), Mike continues to refine his practice through ongoing study and community engagement, creating work that resonates with both professional and public audiences.
