Roadside Pasture captures a quiet farm on a cold, grey day, viewed from the side of the road. Cows move slowly through the pasture, grazing against a landscape that reflects the stillness of the moment. Painted on location, this piece carries a personal story. While working roadside, the farmer, Peter, stopped to see what I was doing. After a short conversation, he kindly invited me to return and paint from within the farm — away from passing cars. That moment of connection becomes part of the painting itself, making it more than just a scene; it reflects place, people, and lived experience.

In the rare event that your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact mike@paintingsbymike.ca within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and clear photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement for prints or work with shipping insurance for originals.
