20” x 16” oil on canvas  A quiet barn stands watch beneath a vast winter sky, blanketed in snow and time. I was drawn to the contrast between the cool blue skies and drifting snow against the warmth hidden in the wood and light. There's a grounding quality to these rural winter scenes. Always still, resilient, and beautifully Canadian.

Every order is carefully prepared to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Original paintings are securely packaged and shipped within 5–7 business days, while prints and canvas wraps are made to order and dispatched within 7–10 business days. All shipments are fully insured, tracked worldwide, and handled with the utmost care, with local pickup available in Nova Scotia.

Because each piece is created or printed to order, all sales are final. Original paintings, prints, and canvas wraps cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective. In the rare event that your artwork is damaged in transit, please contact mike@paintingsbymike.ca within 48 hours of delivery with your order details and clear photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement for prints or work with shipping insurance for originals.
